Ashley Zhu is a UX designer based in Washington, DC, with a deep passion for creating delightful and meaningful design solutions that celebrate the everyday. She earned her BA in Communication Design from the Sam Fox School of Visual Arts at Washington University in St. Louis. Currently, Ashley leads education for Capital One’s Enterprise Design System, where she designs and develops training programs, resources, and guidelines to empower teams in adopting and leveraging the design system. Her work plays a key role in helping teams deliver seamless and impactful experiences for millions of users across various digital platforms.Outside of her work as a designer, Ashley is an interdisciplinary artist with a focus on mixed media. Her artwork has been featured in exhibitions at Turnip Green Gallery and Cheekwood Botanical Gardens & Museum in Nashville, TN. When she’s not designing or creating art, Ashley enjoys salsa dancing, reading poetry, and experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen. She is always excited to collaborate on creative projects that inspire connection, spark joy, and make a positive impact on communities.
